Southern Footprints magazine is
specifically written for southern family researchers by people who share your interest,
not only in genealogy, but southern history as well. This is the only genealogical
magazine written especially for the southern states!
Each of our quarterly issues include:
Feature articles that focus on southern resources and historical events that
impact the way we conduct our research.
Southern Happenings will keep you abreast of upcoming events and genealogy news
from around the South. Also, review of reference books and products that deal with the
south. Find out what the product is about - before you buy!
Southern Online will highlight southern web sites and tips on using the
Internet to help you advance your Internet skills.
Southern Stories focuses on how people overcame their brick walls, their
success stories, or articles regarding funny, fascinating or horrifying ancestors.
Some resources are uniquely "southern," meaning you will not find
them in any other area of the world. Southern Studies is designed to offer guidance and
education in these areas.
One of our goals is to help "connect" the internet user family
researcher and the population that is not on-line, and may never be. Southern Queries was
designed with this goal in mind. Reach out to the non-internet users (who may have
conducting 30 years of research at their fingertips) with your own southern query!
Every issue will contain either a contest or a quiz. You must be a subscriber
to win. One lucky winner (each issue) will receive a prize (current genealogical book or
extension of subscription).
